Safety and conduct

Community Guidelines

These rules apply to content, comments, profiles, rooms, creators and other activity on HoloMatrix.

Effective date: 10 August 2026

1. Purpose and scope

These Community Guidelines apply to everyone using HoloMatrix, including viewers, creators, comments, profiles, usernames, thumbnails, channel information, rooms, reactions, reports and uploaded media.

HoloMatrix is intended for people aged 16 or older. Creator upload access is limited to approved adults aged 18 or older.

Context matters, but artistic, documentary, educational, newsworthy or fictional context does not automatically make harmful or illegal material acceptable. We may limit distribution or add warnings even where content is not removed.

2. Child safety

We do not allow content or behaviour that exploits, sexualises, grooms, traffics, abuses or endangers a child.

Prohibited material includes child sexual abuse material, sexualised depictions of minors, requests for sexual material from minors, grooming, sextortion, instructions that facilitate abuse, or attempts to move a child into secret contact.

We may immediately remove content, preserve evidence, close accounts and report suspected child sexual exploitation or abuse to relevant authorities or reporting bodies where required or permitted by law.

3. Sexual content and intimate imagery

We do not allow pornography, explicit sexual acts, sexual exploitation, solicitation of sexual services, fetish content designed primarily for sexual gratification, or non-consensual intimate imagery.

Never upload intimate material without the freely given permission of every adult depicted. Sexual content involving minors is always prohibited.

Limited non-explicit romantic, artistic, educational or health context may be permitted where lawful and appropriate for the platform’s age rating.

4. Violence, threats and dangerous activity

Do not make credible threats, encourage violence, celebrate real-world suffering, organise attacks or provide instructions intended to facilitate serious harm.

Graphic or shocking material may be removed or restricted, particularly where it humiliates victims, promotes cruelty or lacks legitimate context.

Dangerous challenges, reckless conduct and instructions for weapons, explosives or serious wrongdoing may be removed where they create a material risk of harm.

5. Hate, terrorism and extremist content

Do not attack, dehumanise, threaten or exclude people based on protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or serious health status.

Content that praises, supports, recruits for or materially assists terrorist or violent extremist organisations is prohibited. Documentary or counterspeech context must be clear and must not function as promotion.

6. Harassment, bullying and privacy

Do not repeatedly target, shame, threaten, stalk or encourage others to abuse a person. Do not publish home addresses, private telephone numbers, private messages, financial details, identity documents or other sensitive information without permission.

Criticism of ideas, public works and public figures can be allowed, but targeted abuse, threats and coordinated harassment are not.

7. Suicide, self-harm and eating disorders

Do not encourage, glorify or provide instructions for suicide, self-harm or eating disorders. Supportive recovery discussion and responsible awareness content may be allowed.

Where we believe a person may be in immediate danger, we may take protective steps or contact appropriate emergency or safety organisations where lawful.

8. Illegal goods, services and conduct

Do not use HoloMatrix to buy, sell, promote or facilitate illegal drugs, trafficking, fraud, stolen goods, malicious software, unlawful weapons, sexual exploitation or other illegal activity.

Do not request or share instructions whose main purpose is to enable serious wrongdoing.

9. Deception, impersonation and synthetic media

Do not impersonate another person or organisation, create fake official accounts, conceal paid promotion where disclosure is required, or mislead users about a content source.

Edited or synthetic media must not be used to deceive people in a way likely to cause material harm. Where relevant, clearly disclose meaningful alteration or simulation.

10. Copyright, trademarks and other rights

Upload only material you own or are authorised to use. This applies to video, music, recordings, art, games, characters, logos, performances and clips from other platforms.

Copyright complaints are handled under the Copyright Policy and should be sent to [email protected]. Creators are also subject to the warning and termination process in the Creator Upload Terms.

11. Spam, scams and manipulation

Do not post repetitive unsolicited promotions, phishing, fake giveaways, pyramid schemes, fraudulent investments or misleading links.

Do not buy, sell or automate fake views, likes, follows, comments or reports. Do not use bots or coordinated accounts to manipulate discovery or intimidate users.

12. Comments, profiles and rooms

Usernames, biographies, avatars, comments, replies and room behaviour must follow the same rules as videos.

Do not use slurs, threats, sexual harassment, repeated unwanted contact or attempts to move minors into private communication. Do not disrupt rooms through spam, sound abuse or coordinated attacks.

13. Reporting and blocking

Use in-app reporting controls to report content or users. Available reasons may include copyright, child safety, sexual content, violence, hate, harassment, privacy, impersonation, spam, fraud and other violations.

If you cannot use the in-app controls, illegal content, safety concerns and other legal issues may be reported to [email protected]. Copyright notices and counter-notices should be sent to [email protected] under the Copyright Policy.

Use the block control to stop seeing or interacting with an account where supported. Reporting and blocking are separate actions.

Do not submit knowingly false reports or organise mass reports to silence lawful content.

14. Enforcement

Depending on context, severity, history and risk, we may:

Serious violations may result in immediate removal and account closure. Repeated minor violations may also lead to closure.

15. Appeals and complaints

Where an appeal is available, provide the content or account identifier, the decision you dispute, and a clear explanation. We may ask for additional evidence.

General appeals and complaints: [email protected].

Copyright counter-notices must use the separate process in the Copyright Policy and should be sent to [email protected].
